Wool Pots are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic plant pots, woven from UK sourced wool. They promote strong root growth, which gives better plant growth and the texture of wool acts as a slug and snail deterrent, protecting your plants from being eaten.

Wool Pots are a zero waste alternative that helps our sheep farmers by putting their waste wool to good use. Simply fill the wool pot with compost, as you would with a plastic pot, plant your seeds, water, and watch them grow!

Wool is also excellent at holding water, so your plants get exactly the right amount of moisture they need and are proven to use 20-30% less water than a plastic pot. When filled, these pots can stretch between 9cm and 13cm, the most popular size pot in the UK.

As they are biodegradable, when the seedlings are big enough, you can plant the whole pot into your flower bed, where it will break down naturally, eliminating waste and enriching the soil with organic nutrients as it decomposes.
